LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK Lutheran Schools Week will be celebrated at Trinity Lutheran School on March 6-11. The choir is planning to sing on Sunday, March 6. On Monday their will be an Art display. Tuesday, March 8 will be Hat and Slipper Day. Wednesday, March 9, will be Formal Dress and Proper Manners Day. There will be a spelling bee in the afternoon. Thursday, March 10, will be Weird Hair Day. Friday, March 11, will be Mini Classes and or Board Game Day starting at 1:30 p.m. Also Friday will be Favorite Bible Character dress up day. Mini Classes-can you volunteer your time to teach a mini class for Lutheran Schools Week? If so, please notify the school office (867-4931) by February 21. Endowment Fund A contest will be held for the school endowment fund. It will begin the week of Lutheran Schools Week. Each classroom will have a jar to collect money. The room with the highest dollar amount will win a treat for their class to enjoy. Pennies will be gladly accepted, but will not coun in total for each room. Only silver, dollars, or checks will be included in the total. 1ST GRADE PARENTS - 8th graders need photos of last year’s kindergarten graduation for the yearbook. ASAP! SPRING PICTURES - will be taken on Monday, February 28th. Dental Screening - On March14, 2005, students will have the opportunity to have a dental evaluation along with a fluoride treatment done by the Salud Clinic. Please return the permission form attached to this newsletter by March 1, 2005. Tuition - Please remember that February tuition payments are due. Unless other arrangements have been approved through the school office, tuition payments are due the first week of every month. Basketball Players - please return your basketball uniforms as soon as possible. Please return the shorts as well as the uniform tops. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS FOR FREE EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT Please remember to save your grocery receipts from Edwards Market and Brush Grocery Kart.
