TRINITY TIDBITS TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH: Services at Trinity Lutheran Church are held each Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School and Bible class are held from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Please join us for worship. CONFESSION What is Confession? Confession has two parts. First, that we confess our sins, and second, that we receive absolution, that is, forgiveness, from the pastor as from God Himself, not doubting, but firmly believing that by it our sins are forgiven before God in heaven CONFESSION What is Confession? USED INKJET CARTRIDGES: We are recycling used inkjet cartridges. The company pays $2.00 for each empty inkjet with printhead, regardless of brand and model. Remember to bring in your cartridges. THANK YOU!: To date we have received $145.00 for the inkjet cartridges. CHAPEL: Our total chapel offering collected to date is $832.91. The chapel is being designated to T.I.M., Trinity in Mission. EXTRA PIE: We have an extra pecan pie $10.00. SPELLING BEE: Students that are attending the Spelling Bee in Loveland this Friday, April 2, may leave at 2:00 p.m. in order to arrive on time. KINDERGARTEN & 4TH GRADE: Kindergarten and 4th grade will be starting swimming lessons next week. Please see the attached letter for all the details. ADVANCED BAND: Please remember your money for the field trip this Friday, April 2. BASKETBALL: Players please remember to return your jersey to the office. Thank you. A MUSICAL MOMENT IN MAY: All students are invited to participate in this year’s spring recital to be held on Tuesday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m. Interested musicians need to fill out a sign up form and return it to the office by Friday, April 16. Musical numbers must be memorized and performers need to introduce themselves and the title of their piece. NO SCHOOL: Please remember that we will not have school on Good Friday, April 9, and Monday, April 12. SANDALS: Just a reminder that shoes with low heels should be worn to school. Socks must be worn with shoes and sandals. |
