TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH: Services at Trinity Lutheran Church are held each Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School and Bible class are held from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Please join us for worship.

THE LORD’S PRAYER - THE SIXTH PETITION And lead us not into temptation.

What does this mean? God tempts no one. We pray in this petition that God would guard and keep us so that the devil, the world, and our sinful nature may not deceive us or mislead us into false belief, despair, and other great shame and vice. Although we are attacked by these things, we pray that we may finally overcome them and win the victory.

THE LORD’S PRAYER - THE SIXTH PETITION And lead us not into temptation.

What does this mean? God indeed tempts no one; but we pray in this petition that God would guard and keep us, so that the devil, the world, and our flesh may not deceive us nor seduce us into misbelief, despair, and other great shame and vice; and though we be assailed by them, that still we may finally overcome and obtain the victory.

USED INKJET CARTRIDGES: We are recycling used inkjet cartridges. The company pays $2.00 for each empty inkjet with printhead, regardless of brand and model. Remember to bring in your cartridges.

CHAPEL: Our total chapel offering collected to date is $687.75. The chapel is being designated to T.I.M., Trinity in Mission.

CALENDAR CHANGE: The 1 - 3 choir will not be singing in church on Sunday, February 22. They will be singing on Sunday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m.

TUITION: Please remember that tuition is due the first of the month. Thank you.

NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK: We will be celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week the week of March 7 - 12. One of our favorite activities is mini classes. Classes will be offered Friday afternoon, March 12. We need 7 different classes to offer our students. Do you have a craft, talent, or exhibit you could share with a small group of 10 students for 30 minutes? If you would like to pair up with another adult to co-teach, what a great learning experience for everyone! Call the office if you can help.

BASKETBALL: The basketball teams will play their parents on Friday, February 20. The games will be played at the Nazarene Church starting at 6:30.

VALENTINE EXCHANGE PARTY: The students will be having a valentine exchange during their class Valentine’s Party on Friday, February 13. A list of students in K - 8 is attached to the Tidbit today.

EXTRA PIE: We have an extra pecan pie $10.00.

Parents,

May we suggest a special love gift you may give your child for Valentine’s Day. K.I.D.S. stamps will be accepted with happy hearts. Why? Because the stamps purchased in denominations of $1.00 or $0.25 continue to build schools and churches for Jesus. We are happy to serve your children each Wednesday morning before and after chapel. God bless you with His love in Christ this Valentine’s Day.
