TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH: Services at Trinity Lutheran Church are held each Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School and Bible class are held from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Please join us for worship.

THE FIRST ARTICLE - NIV

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

What does this mean? I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them. He also gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house and home, wife and children, land, animals, and all that I have. He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life.

I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still preserves them; also clothing and shoes, meat and drink, house and home, wife and children, fields, cattle, and all my goods; that He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life; that He defends me against all danger, and guards and protects me from all evil; and all this purely out of fatherly, divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in me; for all which it is my duty to thank and praise, to serve and obey Him. This is most certainly true.

USED INKJET CARTRIDGES: We will be recycling used inkjet cartridges. The company will pay $2.00 for each empty inkjet with printhead, regardless of brand and model. Start bringing in your cartridges.

CHAPEL OFFERING: Our total chapel offering collected to date is $466.39.

PICTURE RETAKES: Picture retakes have been scheduled for this Friday, November 21, at 8:30 a.m. Any student that was absent the first time will have their picture taken. If you are going to have your picture retaken you need to return the packet you received.

XTRA PIES: We have extra pies to sell: Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake $13; Chocolate French Silk $13; Fruits of the Forest $12; Pecan $10; Dutch Apple $10; and Pumpkin $10.

BASKETBALL: Practice tomorrow will not be at Green Acres. We will have an informal practice here at school outside from 3:15 - 4:45. Both boys and girls are invited to come.

1ST - 3RD GRADE: The students in 1st - 3rd grade will be singing at Valley View tomorrow, November 20, at 2:00. We will need to leave school at 1:45 and will return around 2:45. If you can help transport students please let your child’s teacher know. Thank you.

VISIONS OF TREES: The students will be performing at the Visions of Trees this Saturday, November 22, at the American Legion Hall. The 4th - 8th grade choir will sing at 10:30; the 1st - 3rd choir will sing at 10:50; and the advanced band will play at 11:15. All students should arrive a little early so that they are ready when it is time for their group.

4TH - 8TH CHOIR: The 4th - 8th choir will be singing at the Visions of Trees this Saturday, November 22. Please meet at the American Legion Hall at 10:15 a.m. for warm-ups. We need all voices in attendance!! Our pieces will be completed by 11:00 a.m., if not sooner.

CHRISTMAS STORE: We will be having the Christmas store for our students December 3 - 5, before and after school. If you can help work in the store please contact Adrienne Taylor 867-4993.

THANKSGIVING: Please remember that we will have early dismissal next Wednesday, November 26. Classes will dismiss at 11:00 a.m. for ALL students. There will be no classes on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, Happy Thanksgiving!

GOD’S CREATION CALENDAR: The God’s Creation Calendars are in. If you ordered any calendars you can pay and pick them up in the office.
